Don’t try skint on skip bins, every time I do I end up running out of space and need
to order a new bin which ends up costing me more.
I always order 10 cube skip bins, that’s typically the biggest I can order, but sometime when I think I only need half that, I come undone if I only order a 4 or 6 cube bin.
Many companies only allow you to have the bin for a week, but I’ve found if you have a trade account some companies will allow you to have a month which helps a lot. Typically, you will use a bin or two for demo but then you want another bin onsite throughout the remainder of the renovation period.
It’s also important that the company you use can do change overs at short notice, smaller businesses often don’t have enough bins & that can be frustrating when you need a changeover at short notice & they cannot deliver.
